Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center is located north of Lawlor Events Center on Virginia and 16th streets, on the University of Nevada, Reno campus, 1.5 miles north of the downtown Reno arch. Free permit parking is available in the West Stadium Parking Complex, level 3, just east of the planetarium.Park between designated planetarium parking signs.
Ride to the planetarium on the Sierra Spirit bus from one of 32 stops along Virginia Street from downtown Reno. Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center also is served by Citifare bus lines, with stops throughout Reno and Sparks.

Telescope viewing is scheduled at the Planetarium from 8-10 p.m. on the third Friday of each month. Viewing is dependent on weather, wind and sky conditions.
Open to the public every first Friday of each month, weather permitting:
September-May: 8-10 p.m.
June-August: 9-11 p.m.
